Just a Long Island transplant in search of quality time with my kids.
Full disclosure up front...I am not from Long Island!!! In fact, that is probably the primary reason I created this site. I became increasingly frustrated with the lack of good information about local activities for kids - especially indoor stuff on a rainy day (or a long miserable winter). Any idiot can pack thier kids into the minivan and head for the beach in the summer, but dig a little deeper and it becomes more and more difficult to find alternative sources of children's entertainment. My hope is that this website will provide quality descriptions of and suggestions for local activities.
I hope you find the information on these pages relevant. If there is anything you feel that would be appropriate for the site - please let me know and I will endeavor to check it out.
Also, if your experience did not match mine (I'm aware that I may have gotten either lucky or unlucky on any given day), let me know and I may make adjustment.
